Our founder
George Maamary, founder of GMI Pty Ltd, has more than 40 years in the Investigation & Protection Industry.
His career began in 1986 as a field agent and a debt collector. In 2002 George was the security provider to DFAT World Trade Organization, working closely with ASIO, AFP and the NSW Police Force.
Since then, George has acquired many qualifications including Diploma Government Investigations, Diploma Financial Services, and Diploma Training and Assessments. He is also a qualified TSCM (Technical Surveillance Counter Measures) operative and a licensed Security Consultant, Security Trainer, Electronic Equipment Specialist, Security Seller, Monitoring Centre Operator, Crowd Controller, and Bodyguard.
